Terms & Conditions
Sample text: these terms are provided for illustration only, are not legal advice, and will be replaced by Centrova’s final agreement. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Centrova platform, website, and related services (together, the "Service") operated by Centrova ("Centrova," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization and confirm you have authority to do so. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
The plain-English version
Centrova provides software that helps hospitals and research sites identify patients who may be eligible for clinical trials, track enrollment, and report on trial performance. You bring your data and your users. We process that data only to provide the Service you configure. You own your data; we don’t sell it, and we don’t train shared models on it. Centrova supports clinical judgement — it does not replace it. The rest of this document is the careful version.
Eligibility & accounts
- The Service is for organizations. You must be authorized to bind your organization to these Terms.
- You’re responsible for activity under your account, including by your staff users and any integrations you authorize.
- Keep credentials secure. Tell us promptly at team@centrova.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must keep user access current, including removing staff who no longer need it.
The Service & acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Break any law, regulation, or third party’s rights, including patient privacy laws such as HIPAA;
- Submit data you don’t have the right, approval, or lawful basis to share with us;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract source code, except where this restriction is prohibited by law;
- Resell, sublicense, or operate the Service as a competing product;
- Upload malware or probe, scan, or test the security of any system without our written consent;
- Use the Service to make final eligibility, enrollment, or treatment decisions without review by qualified clinical staff;
- Exceed rate limits or circumvent usage or access controls.
We may suspend or limit access if your use threatens the Service, other customers, patients, or anyone’s safety — we’ll give notice where practical.
Your data & patient information
You own your data. You retain all rights to the patient records, trial information, and other materials you submit ("Customer Data").
License to us. You grant Centrova a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide the Service to you, as instructed by your configuration and any Business Associate Agreement between us.
No shared-model training. We do not use your Customer Data to train models shared across customers. Each customer’s data is logically isolated.
Your responsibility. You’re responsible for having the rights, approvals, and lawful basis (including any required authorizations or IRB approvals) to submit Customer Data and have us process it.
Aggregated data. We may use de-identified, aggregated data that doesn’t identify you, your patients, or any individual to operate and improve the Service, as permitted by law and our agreements with you.
Third-party services & integrations
The Service connects to systems you authorize, such as electronic health records, clinical trial management systems, eConsent tools, and public registries like ClinicalTrials.gov. Your use of those systems is governed by their own terms. We’re not responsible for third-party systems, their availability, or what they do with data once it leaves the Service at your direction.
Intellectual property & clinical responsibility
The Service, including its software, models, design, and documentation, is owned by Centrova and its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. Centrova provides decision support only; eligibility and medical decisions remain the responsibility of your clinical staff. We may use feedback you give us without obligation.
